Dr. Kristy Clinton

Dr. Clinton has been living and practicing in Austin since 2000 and has a dedication to learning the most current health information and techniques that allow her to better treat her patients. She takes it seriously that she has been entrusted to care for a patient and will educate the importance of chiropractic, proper nutrition and a healthy balance in your life to get and stay healthy. Health restoration through the most effective and individually designed treatment is her goal for your care. Dr. Clinton will identify the source of your complaint and use the most advanced treatment methods available to treat postural, athletic, traumatic or genetic conditions related to the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. She will also address any lifestyle, nutritional, or therapeutic exercise changes that maybe necessary for you to reach your optimal health potential.  She is focused and passionate about learning the latest methods and treatments to ensure you receive the best care and quickest results.

Dr. Clinton received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College in 2000 from Dallas, Texas. While attending Parker Dr. Clinton received the prestigious Parker College Jim Parker Philosophical Award for her care and dedication to patients. She was also named “Most Likely to Make a Positive Impact on Chiropractic” by her colleagues. Immediately after Chiropractic College she began and still continues her studies in acupuncture, nutrition, functional medicine and natural drug free treatment of disease and illness.  A natural holistic approach to your health is necessary to see how the whole body works together, only then can you begin to understand how to heal it.

A typical chiropractic visit to Dr. Clinton will include your health history, examination, addressing any nutritional needs and current state of your health via the nervous and musculoskeletal system. Corrections of spinal or extremity joint problems, notation of any arthritic or disc degenerative conditions in your spine and specific physiotherapy and exercise treatment plans designed to inform you on how to care for your spine throughout your lifetime.  Many patients of Dr. Clinton will utilize a multi-discipline approach and take advantage of a balanced treatment plan that utilizes her knowledge of chiropractic, acupuncture and nutrition to achieve the best healing results possible.

Dr. Tracie Schwab

Dr. Tracie Schwab has been practicing in Austin since 2002, prior to that, she practiced in Copperas Cove, TX near Fort Hood Military Base where she had the opportunity to care for many members of the military and their families.  Dr. Schwab has extensive training in nutrition, sports injuries, chronic pain, extremity injuries, fibromyalgia, digestive/GI problems, disc issues, arthritic joints, radiating pain, neck injuries, and women’s health.  She loves watching her patients live healthy active, and pain free lives through chiropractic care and nutrition.  She will diligently look for the source of your health complaints and concerns and not just chase symptoms.  Every symptom has a cause and it is necessary to address those to arrive at a place of optimal health.  Dr. Schwab’s skills and education allow her to take an integrative approach when addressing each patient’s individual needs.  She is known as a compassionate doctor and will take the time necessary to thoroughly assess your musculoskeletal, neurological and other health issues.  She will perform or refer for necessary diagnostic tests, and make individualized treatment recommendations. She will also advise you on proper lifestyle health choices, recommend necessary treatment, rehabilitative exercises, exercise and work ergonomics, nutritional recommendations and supplementation.

Dr. Schwab is a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas where she also received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Anatomy. Dr. Schwab’s undergraduate education was completed at Fort Hays State University in Kansas. While Attending Fort Hays State, she participated in the University’s Sport’s Medicine program where study was focused on athletic injuries and rehabilitation, health and human performance, exercise physiology and nutrition. Dr. Schwab believes in staying current on the latest technology and wellness techniques available, and attends several conferences each year educating herself on the most recent information, testing, and treatments available. Dr. Schwab and her husband Steve with their two children call Austin home. They enjoy spending time as a family, outdoor activities, exercise, books, pets, and friends. Dr. Schwab cares for patients of all ages ranging from newborns to the elderly.  She enjoys educating her patients on the healthful benefits of chiropractic care and nutrition and the numerous other aspects of maintaining a healthy, energetic, and active lifestyle. She loves helping others achieve optimum wellness!
